Just loved it here. Laid back, unpretentious atmosphere. Gorgeous food, all freshly made. Good wines' and friendly, welcoming staff. We went back 3 times!

Here is a place that remains, despite everything, the intense tourism, the different and often justified and even occasionally strange requests of the customers, a restaurant (and also an excellent pizzeria) where you can truly experience and taste the essence of Florence. The true Tuscan cuisine and the harmony of flavours, the hospitality and perfection of customer service (one of the few places where you can find beautiful cotton napkins that are changed every time...!). Each dish is a real delight and is brought to the table with a unique ethusiasm! Therefore, Mastrociliegia is truly the "place to be, to live and TO EAT" if you are spending even just for an evening (or lunch) in Florence. I could never not be there...!

Every time I come here I am always very satisfied. Both the pizza and the "fat" and everything else are good. Top location and honest prices for being in the center. One of my culinary go-tos.

We arrived late after seeing the sunset on a Friday evening. The waiter found us an outdoor table quite quickly despite the crowds.
Relatively fast service.
We tasted delicious pappardelle alla chiantigiana, we highly recommend.
All the dishes on the menu were tempting and the prices were very reasonable.
On the other hand, the friendliness of the staff, in particular the woman behind the counter who cashed us, remains to be reviewed (“hello, thank you, goodbye” she does not know).
Likewise, when we had not finished our dishes, a waiter came to collect the pot of parmesan that we were using and give it to another table, a strange way of doing things.

Siamo stati due sere a cena in questa trattoria pizzeria. Direi buone proposte sia di cucina che come pizzeria.
