I dined at Donatello several times during my business trips to Imola. The dishes are well looked after, the products used are good as are the wines, the offer on the menu is a bit limited but on the other hand you can opt for the pizza, overall everything is good. Fast service, courtesy and kindness from the staff, prices slightly higher than the average in the area but for those who stay in the hotel the convenience of not having to go outside to have dinner remains. Advised.

ristorante molto buono menu interessate e completo sia nei primi che nei secondi potete anche prendere una buona pizza e non ve ne pentirete perché rimarrete contenti e soddisfatti dalla sua bontà. ristorante molto consigliato

very nice restaurant, always full. So better to book in advance. They serve amazing salmon filet😋 good variety of fish and meat dishes, pizza is tasty! we’ve been with the big group - it didn’t affect the service speed.

Davvero speciale ....come sempre....accoglienza....atmosfera.....gentilezza delle cameriere e dei camerieri....ma vogliamo parlare della qualità e della superiorità del cibo che viene servito???da rimanere senza fiato....ieri sera tutto a base di pesce delizioso......è un grande posto dove tornare appena possibile....consigliato vivamente

Avevo già lasciato una recensione positiva anni fa, ma rinnovo. Ottimi sia la pizza, sia i primi di pesce che la carne. Per le famiglie con bambini, l’area bimbi all'interno del ristorante al chiuso è una vera benedizione. Personale gentilissimo e molto professionale. Possibilità di vedere gli eventi sportivi sulla TV. Ci torniamo spesso volentieri.

10/05/2024: I had black tea with some friends and it was a pleasant experience, the tea was very good! I had to give 4 stars to the environment because unfortunately the number of chairs is not proportionate to the number of tables. A friend of ours was going to join us and we were keeping a bench occupied for her. Since we were short of chairs, it was removed from our table to allow others to sit. In doing so, the waiter (who I discovered was the owner) was rude. I understand the frustration of reserving a free seat for an unpredictable time when there are customers standing, and there would have been no problem on our part to let them use the aforementioned bench. However, the waiter's tone suggested that we had almost done him a disservice by keeping the seat occupied for a person who was arriving; It definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. Therefore I am forced to give 3 stars to the service. The other waitresses who served us, however, were kind and helpful. P.S. An answer would have been appreciated.

12/05/2024: Excellent place with Roman food in the historic center, chosen today to celebrate Mother's Day, on the advice of a friend. There were 4 of us, we ordered: a generous and delicious gricia, two cacio e pepe and a tonnarello with turnip greens, anchovy and a sprinkling of breadcrumbs, slightly spicy... Excellent!!! Abbacchio alla tagliadito, (excellent, buttery, my son devoured it), Roman-style rolls and chicory on the side. Yummy!!! Dessert: a cream cheese cake, a berry cheese cake and a millefeuille. Two glasses of wine. 4 waters Excellent value for money. Kindness of the staff. I highly recommend!!!
