Really good, down-to-earth cuisine! The trattoria is very hidden, but is worth the drive through narrow streets. It has parking spaces on the property. The service (understands and speaks English) is very nice and good, the atmosphere (the owner is apparently very fond of jazz) tasteful and appealing and pleasantly calm. Our shared starter - ravioli with pumpkin filling and fried bacon - was even served on two plates and was really tasty. The room is quite large and at lower temperatures it is advisable to dress warmly. All in all, a really good, tasty dinner in a nice atmosphere, would be happy again!

Cernobbio, 14 February 2024 - On a Valentine's Day where most restaurants offer fixed menus at exorbitant prices, Osteria Nisciolano stood out for its unconventional opening. Not only was the restaurant extraordinarily open, but it offered its complete menu, full of typical dishes from the Lombard and Italian tradition. The choice turned out to be the right one: my partner and I were won over by the goodness and authenticity of the dishes, prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The portions were really generous, so much so that we struggled to finish everything. Particular praise goes to the kindness and courtesy of the managers, who made us feel at home and pampered us throughout the evening. The welcoming and familiar atmosphere of the restaurant, combined with the excellent food and impeccable service, made our Valentine's Day truly special. We highly recommend Osteria Nisciolano to anyone looking for a restaurant where they can enjoy good food in a pleasant and relaxed environment.

Menu di lavoro in questa trattoria dall’aspetto accogliente e famigliare, come del resto credo sia la gestione. Scelta nella norma fra tre primi e due secondi. Quest’ultimo buono, primo piatto invece da dimenticare; entrambi peraltro serviti troppo velocemente, sintomo di sola scaldata al microonde prima di arrivare in tavola. Prezzo assolutamente onesto e dolce buono.

Un ottimo risotto preparato al volo nonostante l'ora di chiusura incombente. Non male il gutturnio della casa e il servizio
