This is definitely one of the best restaurant in Sicily. Make sure you make a reservation before you go.
There is no outside area for sitting, but restaurant has very cosy and traditional interier.
Food is delicious. There is no big choice, but food is fresh and so full of taste.
We had rabbit and meatballs and I will never forget that amazing taste.
It's not posh, is traditional and classic food made with love. Like from your grandma. Definitely come to eat here if you wanna taste true Sicily.

The friendliest and warmest service in Cefalu, a very friendly town. Family owned and run with mother and son making an unbeatable team serving / hosting and chefing. Amazing food including meat and fish, with very sensible prices considering the high quality. Also best international language skills in town to accommodate tourists. Her Panacotta is world class 😋😉

The service is friendly and quick. The dishes are normally tasty, but we didn't have an extraordinary taste experience. The meatballs weren't fully cooked, which took its toll. It would have been nice to know that Cassata Siciliana is a very sweet cake and not ice cream.

You might need a reservation to sit here and for a good reason! The food was amazing, first time I ever liked artichokes on a plate. Especially recommend the stuffed swordfish rolls. Take it from a person who normally doesn't go near fish: these are finger-licking-good. Absolutely amazing! Once again our compliments to the chef!

Great atmosphere and friendly attitude towards their guests! It is not the first time we have been to this restaurant, but I would like to point out that every time we leave with a cheerful mood, well-fed and satisfied. We decided to celebrate a birthday in this restaurant and the owner of the restaurant treated us to a bottle of Prosecco, which was very courteous and noble on his part, we thank him for this. Small menu but high quality and very tasty!

After getting to know three other restaurants, we went to "La Brace" in the evening. We were greeted warmly and were delighted with both the service and the food. Therefore, further visits to what we consider to be the best restaurant in Cefalù followed.
In addition to the normal menu, additional dishes are offered daily and are listed on a chalkboard.
My highlights were onion soup (Zuppa di apolle), beef fillet wrapped in bacon (Tournedos a la brace) and rigatoni with salccia.
The house white wine (12 euros per liter) was good, and there was often limoncello with it.
Lovers of delicious desserts were also catered for, everything was very good.

La Brace non è un ristorante, È CASA.
Vengo da molti anni per gustare una cucina genuina e sempre originale. L’antipasto di salmone affumicato con la salsina di miele è sempre ottimo. Questa volta provata una entrecote coi funghi ferla, squisita, con la solita insalata a modo mio, con frutta e formaggio. Anche gli altri commensali erano soddisfatti degli involtini di spada e dello stufato con patate. La degna conclusione è la banana alla Brace che è stata il motivo per cui i nostri amici sono voluti tornare. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Se andando a Cefalù cercate il verandone dove mangiare il risotto alla pescatora e la frittura di calamari La Brace non fa per voi!

Locale molto carino ed accogliente.
Personale gentile, piatti buoni ma nulla di eccezionale. Abbiamo preso un coniglio con le castagne e un piatto di antipasto. Personalmente non sono rimasta molto soddisfatta del piatto che ho scelto perché il coniglio era tiepido, c' erano poche castagne (4 circa) e l' accostamento dei sapori non mi è piaciuto molto.
Consiglio di provare anche altro ma occhio ai prezzi.
