Ristorante Bama La Forneria In La spezia

My friends and I often meet at Bama to celebrate birthdays or simply to have an aperitif. The food is always of high quality, the platters are plentiful and the menu is varied. As a vegetarian I have always eaten very well. The staff is courteous and helpful, always efficient even at peak times like Saturday evenings. If you pass through the historic center of Spezia, it is an obligatory stop!

If you are looking for a place to enjoy a hearty and delicious aperitif, you absolutely must visit Bama. Unlike most bars in the city, the aperitif here is a real banquet. They don't just offer a few snacks: you will find a wide selection of food including appetizers, hot dishes, finger foods and local specialities, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Very nice bartender!

Delicious food but a not so good location

Delicious specialties at widely affordable prices, generous portions and smiling staff. Far from the tourist restaurant, a real pleasure.

Definitely worthy to come and eat place!! The best farinata ever, so juicy tasty, almost like scrambled eggs. No addition needed as it was so good! Amazing focaccia, super crispy outside and soft inside. Wide range of flavours, you can even ask for your filling. I created mine: pesto, ham and stracchino cheese (delicious!). The owner and other staff is super nice. I will come back here again for sure. Very fair price (4-5 euro for focaccia, 3 for plain farinata) for good quality, taste and portion size

I discovered this place last year. Every time I go to La Spezia it is a fixed destination for the aperitif which is exceptional and I would say it is certainly one of the best I have ever tasted. And I go around a lot for aperitifs because I have always loved them so much. The platter is very rich and is enough to have lunch without feeling hungry afterwards, all with excellent and fresh products, and the farinata is exceptional. Honest prices to say the least, staff with unique kindness. In Savona you can eat almost nothing for the same price.

Good finger food, with cocktails

Amazing food, great service, excellent value for money. We ordered the number 6 pinse and gnocchi with bolognese sauce. Both were fantastic and some of the best Italian meals we have eaten so far.
