We ate here twice. Once inside (when it rains) and once on the terrace. The food was delicious both times. Really surprisingly good for a restaurant on a square. Inside it has a village feel. Really very cozy. The service is very friendly and speaks good English. Handy if your Italian is not that good. 😉

the place is historic and well kept even if the smell from the kitchen reaches the room a little. the food is good and served well. some notes on the service: certainly polite staff, but the lack of a waiter who speaks English due to the location of the restaurant is a flaw; another thing that left me astounded was seeing how the waiters put the breadsticks and bread into the basket with their bare hands, especially after having picked up a nice ham to slice it and touched the dirty dishes from the tables. I suggest a fixed plastic glove as I have seen done in other restaurants. reasonable price for the place.

As a tourist, after reading the reviews I wanted to try this historic place. I was struck by the real authentic atmosphere of a trattoria from times gone by (I also found the bathroom very nice for someone obsessed with vintage like me 😅) the girl who looked after us very kindly, therefore excellent service, the typical Piedmontese dishes met my expectations, the agnolotti and the braised meat with a tasty and strong taste as I like it!! The bulk wine was also pleasant. The prices were slightly high, but it's okay, and I would go back anyway!!

Recommended by our host. A beautiful place, in business for a long time. Our waiter was excellent, friendly yet professional, and his recommendations were spot on. We had a delicious meal of traditional piedmonese specialties. Save room for dessert!

Anche questo locale è di Piero Chiambretti, molto abile a gestire locali storici e dediti alla ristorazione. Si trova sotto i portici all'angolo tra via Po e Piazza Vittorio Veneto, accanto ad un altro locale storico (attenzione a non sbagliare...). Si può prenotare senza problemi anche online dal sito. Menù ampio e tanti piatti tipici da assaggiare. Ambiente caldo e atmosfera adatta per una cena con amici quando fuori c'è freddo. Qualità alta (da non perdere la fonduta con polenta fritta) e prezzi adeguati.
Presente anche il fritto piemontese, non facile da trovare (con rane e timo...).

Locale tipico, abbiamo mangiato un piatto unico con piatti tipici salsiccia e patate e taurini. Non poteva mancare la degustazione di un fritto misto piemontese che riesce ad abbinare la carne con il dolce, molto interessante. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, personale molto gentile.
