Poldo In Torino

Can reviews serve to stimulate those who receive them to improve the quality of the service? I always find it hard to criticize but I would like it to be useful. Poldo is a true historic pizzeria. Which has retained its originality. Without giving space to the questionable fashions of gourmet pizzerias or fake Neapolitan pizzerias. Farinata and pan pizza, that's how they were in high school (the 80s) and that's how they are. Same furniture and also same prices. Pizza and farinata (good) and beer for 15 euros where can you find it today? Sit and served I mean. However: a few fewer tables would perhaps be better, at least you don't have to get elbowed every time someone passes by you. And it would also serve to follow up with customers a little more so that they don't have to ask for the same things three times. Until next time

Tried it for lunch with friends. Simple but tidy and clean environment. Friendly and friendly staff and fast service. Delicious farinata and spectacular pan pizza: soft and well stuffed but with a crunchy base and crust around the edge. Honest prices. 5 stars deserved.

In questa pizzeria ci veniamo veramente da una vita perché la pizza al padellino è veramente squisita ed anche molto economica...il locale è sempre molto affollato (non si prenota), ma il sevizio è cortese, veloce ed efficiente. Per noi è tra le migliori 3 pizze al padellino di Torino ed alcune recensioni negative sono assolutamente ingiustificate..noi ci torneremo senza alcun dubbio!

Dinner on Friday evening, the place was full, however we didn't have to wait long to sit down (about 15 minutes). Classic pizza and farinata (wrongly arrived in this order)... Very good pan pizza, brick pizza without infamy or praise, good farinata but a little dry for my tastes (personally I prefer it thicker with a softer lower part). Old style place, classic Piedmontese pizzeria from the 70s. Correct prices

Pan-fried pizza and farinata are always excellent, fast and friendly service, an older atmosphere but it is part of the character of the place

I have known the whole family for years. Always better. A guarantee handed down over time.

Friendly staff, they also have the best padellino in Torino and the farinata is fantastic
