Pizzeria Ristorante Al Faro In Venezia

The four cheese lasagna is amazing! Service was excellent. We sat outside in true Venetian style. Price is very reasonable. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

The food was delicious and the service was great. The staff was so friendly. The restaurant is in a secluded spot, lots of shade in the Venetian Ghetto. Can’t wait to come back! You won’t be disappointed so take the trip. It is worth it!

got the gnocchi pesto and salami pizza was delicious. tirimasu was simple but good. service wasn’t great but seems like they were swamped / busy with something and we had a great time regardless

Dinner with friends. The price-quality ratio is low, which is why I only give the food two stars. But it seems to be the general trend in Venice. We were in better places in a week we spent there. The service good. We were served by a very friendly Ukrainian boy who spoke Spanish.

Ristorante nel ghetto. Da non perdere le purtroppo poche proposte di cucina etnica che meritano davvero.

Risottos excellents et service très sympa. Peur de tomber sur un piège à touristes mais pas du tout ! C'était très bien et pas cher.

Le pizze sono buone (anche se il forno è elettrico), ma stasera tornando ho scelto fegato alla veneziana: un po' coriaceo, e con presenza di qualche foglia di rucola (?). Le verdure grigliate sarebbero state ok ma erano corredate da filetti di peperoni sottaceto, che caldi proprio non vanno!!! In ogni caso, iI personale è cortese e il figlio del titolare è un ottimo padrone di casa. Ricordatevi di assaggiare le pizze.

We are fortunate to visit Venice, most every year, for about a month. We are also fortunate to have Al Faro a reasonable distance away from our usual rental apartment. That photo does not do justice to this place and its food. I could stop here but I am amazed that the food has actually improved. The service has always been good, the prices remain reasonable (but like anywhere, post COVID, they are up a bit).... But again, how can this food improve? I asked the owner, and he just smiled. Again, this has always been our standby...let's explore...but we can always go to A...F. That's not a negative, but rather a safe harbor. Always open and they will find a seat for us. The pizza is tasty, inexpensive and made in open view. But again, now the quiet specials are shining...fresh flat pasta with mushrooms, shellfish...proud to say, I finished it all. We likely were there 1.5 to 2 hours, never rushed...2 people with 2 similar dishes, a liter of house wine and cover...55 euros. Best yet, an unexpected short glass each of limoncello on the house. I cant promise that, but the rest is guaranteed.
