Very tasty food in an authentic setting. We love immersing ourselves in real local life. Only Italian is spoken here and the service is very friendly. For me, ambience in this case doesn't mean very fancy or scenic. I would eat here again and again when I'm in the area.

06/05/2024: The location is very suggestive with particular furnishings, ornaments, plants etc. Excellent raw materials, fabulous ham and zola, soft and very digestible pizza. Too bad about the cleanliness...quilted sofa full of crumbs, chandelier with cobwebs and various dusty objects. Friendly staff but sparse due to the turnout. Prices are quite expensive...2 euros for a coffee, 4 euros for drinks, 2.50 cover charge for a paper placemat and two cutlery. I would say that if the prices are higher than in Milan because we are in the Duomo, some aspects could be much more taken care of.
05/05/2024: Excellent breakfast in one of the main streets of Crema. Delicious cappuccino and excellent croissants, shame about the prices because they are very high. I understand being in the center but I would lower them a bit.

26/03/2024: In the historic center of Cremona, a few meters from the Cathedral, one of the most beautiful Romanesque monuments in Italy, the Central Restaurant welcomes guests with a wonderful atmosphere of times gone by. Typical dishes from Cremona, good quality wines, simple but attentive service, adequate prices. From appetizers to first courses, from second courses to side dishes, from desserts to coffee, everything is good, it is harmonious, it is friendly. There is no music playing in the large room which takes you back in time. At lunch the customers speak softly, a serene silence accompanies the meal between the tables.
04/03/2024: Good restaurant in the city center, which has remained a little behind in time, but the cuisine is very good and offers traditional and non-traditional dishes. I will gladly return!
