24/05/2024: I have been to this place more than once because I happen to work nearby and I can say that if you are near Pomezia "Le Monachelle" is a safe place. All the products they use are always very fresh and the dishes offered are always delicious. You can also find amazing off-menu dishes, cooked with seasonal and top quality ingredients. Le Monachelle is one of those places that raises the standards and makes you understand that "eating" and "eating well" are two very different things. Even a simple platter as an appetizer makes you understand that you should never take anything for granted: selected cured meats, hot porchetta, ricotta and mozzarella that have a real "milk" flavor...while around you can find poor-quality cured meats, non-hot porchetta and ricotta (or mozzarella) that taste like water and air. The pasta is always excellent, the second courses are really good. Always hot bread or pinsa. The desserts are homemade and all delicious. The place is small, it's a kind of closed kiosk, very characteristic and rustic, with a very basic paper placemat on the table but it does the job. They are slightly slow with orders but totally forgivable. To conclude: I highly recommend this place to all those people who are not just looking for a place to eat and fill their bellies, but are looking for a place to eat well and leave happy, at very honest prices.

15/05/2024: We had a great time... easy going... excellent and tasty food, I know they also make sandwiches. I saw cutting boards...we took pizza flatbreads with buffalo mozzarella and ham 😋 with porchetta.. but the one with mortadella and pistachios was absolutely delicious, a must try
