Pizzeria Da Gino In Torino

We happened upon Gino almost by chance, returning from a morning in Stupinigi. The place is in a street of the Turin of the past, with buildings and shops under the house, it has two or three windows and a characteristic sign outside, and above all people waiting on the pavement even at 1.30pm. The staff is smiling and kind, and seated us as soon as possible, 5 of us, even though it was close to closing (2pm). What can I say, pan pizza is delicious, piping hot and has been made this way for almost 90 years. The excellent farinata and the simple and informal environment. With water, coke and two coffees we spent around €70. Perfect and recommended.

Farinata al top pizza buona il resto lasciamo stare ...staff maleducati scorbutici tavoli troppo vicini .......ma x loro va bene così ...tanto e sempre pieno ....io personalmente non vado più ..e mi spiace ma dare soldi a gente che invece di ringraziare sembra che ti faccia un favore ...come se ti regalassero il cibo......addio

Era da tanto che volevamo provare la farinata e la pizza al padellino di questo locale storico torinese; anche andando più sul tardi era davvero affollato, con quell’odore e calore tipici delle pizzerie di una volta. Nonostante l’attesa per sederci, il servizio è stato poi molto veloce, le pizze piccole ma gustose, e anche la farinata. Non siamo rimasti delusi!
