Excellent meal and very warm welcome! We enjoyed ourselves, not speaking Italian, the lady serving took the time to show us the desserts. In short, go there with your eyes closed!

The staff was very welcoming and the food amazing! If you are looking for a simple and affordable place, it is a perfect option. I got to try the gnocchi with pistachio. It was absolute heaven. The gnocchis were very fresh, and the creamy sauce so delicious. They recommended us the fish but we ended up not having it.

È sempre un piacere. Locale classico e accogliente nel centro di Sappada. Cibo e servizio validi. Meglio in inverno che in estate come location..in estate comunque si può mangiare all' esterno al tempo stesso restando al coperto. Ottimi i dolci fatti in casa, alcuni forse un po' cari.

05/03/2024: Very nice place, delicious food, very friendly and helpful staff.
06/02/2024: Sunday lunch with friends. The place is nice and welcoming but certainly the highlight of the place is the meat, or rather the steak! We took 3 different menus, one without the steak, but it must be said that they also had special dishes with different qualities of meat. The tartares were good, I must say that the truffle one was disappointing though, with little flavour. The steak was excellent. Acceptable service, flaw of the day, the POS was not working, so to pay we had to queue at the ATM which luckily was nearby. Very honest price-quality, 3 menus (which include sweet water and coffee) and a bottle of wine. 45 euros each.

19/12/2023: Excellent experience from every point of view. Quick service, well-kept location, friendly wait staff, friendly and approachable owners, and excellent, well-presented dishes. The menu makes sense and offers varied flavors both in intensity and raw material, ranging between meat, fish and veg options. Notes of special appreciation for the fried brains, the liver rochers and the cheesecake with dark chocolate and bitter orange marmalade. We would happily return.
