The restaurant is somewhat hidden in a beautiful little alley and is very charming and authentically decorated. It is rather small, so reservations are strongly recommended if you don't want to rely on luck.
The hostess is incredibly warm and attentive.
The food was excellent: the stuffed Fiori di zucca fritta was juicy, crispy and simply delicious. The other dishes were also extremely tasty and seemed absolutely authentic to us, as did the house wine.
All in all, we had the best evening there during our stay in Rome - everything is just right here.

The mamma mia pasta was so good!! The waitress was lovely and the place is typical so it’s a great local experience.
The mushroom pasta was delicious, I highly recommend it!
An excellent restaurant in the heart of Rome, to try, you will not be disappointed.

This was the absolute best pasta we had during our whole stay in Italy! The Carbonara was the best I ever had with very tasty bacon slices, just the right amount of cheese and perfect consistency.
The Ravioli Cacio Pepe with Black Truffle was super delicious and it had a very generous amount of truffles which was shaved on top upon serving by the actual owner, Simona, who was a very gracious host.
For starters, the carciofi (artichokes) alla giudea and fried fiore di zucca was very good.
For dessert, the homemade Tiramisu was also the best I had during our entire trip.
This will be my first stop the next time we go back to Rome!👍👍😊😊

Best meal we had in Rome! Service and food was great. Definitely recommend trying the fried artichokes, even if you don't like artichokes! Would go back next visit!

Wonderful experience! Restaurant is family owned and husband is the chef while the wife does everything else. Food was delicious and of course cooked to order. Bread was amazing and the fresh dessert was the best of our trip! High recommend this non-touristy restaurant for a delicious meal. The restaurant is small and she was turning people away - be sure to make a reservation.
