Pier De Cat is a little cafe in a beautiful setting, overlooking Taormina, and worth the trip. The owner was very nice and made excellent recommendations. The food is very reasonably priced, and was the best lasagna and Arancini I have had. The almond wine is phenomenal and very unique. Highly recommend going to Castelmola just to visit this amazing restaurant.

Great food and the best cocktails I've had in Sicily. I got the Seafood risotto and my husband got the Classico panini. Good portions and flavorful. The owner is very nice and charismatic. We got their almond wine and brioche and Gelato for dessert and they did not disappoint. Got me to buy a big bottle of their almond wine

Very pleasant and friendly owner! I told them that the Messina beer was not a Sicilian beer, but a Heinecken beer. Seme dorato was a CL beer. Good view, good seat, good owner~ The bathroom was also good~ He said they would bring it to you even if you were sitting in your seat. I like it a lot haha

Simply incredible, in a charming village perched on the Taormina heights, the boss is always extremely smiling and happy to share his passion. I highly recommend the "arancino agli spinaci e Formaggio". To visit without thinking!

Dopo la salita a piedi da Taormina ci siamo “ripresi” con ottimi arancini aromatizzati con cura da Piero e con bruschette spettacolari, il tutto innaffiato con dell’ottimo vino grillo bianco. Cortesia, simpatia e tanta dedizione: se passate da Castelmola non fatevi scappare questo gioiellino.
