06/03/2024: Truly exceptional place, very characteristic and welcoming structure, especially the internal part. Very kind and helpful staff, a truly excellent welcome. Really delicious food, from starters to dessert. We tasted almost all the first courses: all exceptional (praise for the wild boar ragù, never tasted so good). The second courses are also very good, from meat to smoked provola, as are the side dishes and desserts. Excellent prices: around €30/32 first course, second side dish and dessert. I have to say we had a great time. We will definitely be back.
03/02/2024: ... Among the curves of the old state road that leads from Pietrelcina to Pesco Sannita (for those who are motorcyclists like me, a non-negligible detail), there is the "tasty" Trattoria da Michele. The location is very pretty and the stone walls complete the already friendly welcome of the owner, Michele. The culinary experience unfolds through simple dishes, prepared with skill and with excellent raw materials. In particular, we appreciated the fettuccine, sausage and porcini mushrooms, but even more so the truffle tonnarelli, whose aroma takes you back for a moment to the typical Umbrian villages. The second courses are no less, both the grilled lamb, but the house specialty is truly remarkable: the sliced beef, cooked in different ways. We concluded lunch with homemade desserts, all "washed down" by an excellent local red wine. Ah, I forgot: bruschetta as an "aperitif" is truly appetizing. We will definitely return to Michele and recommend it to everyone!!!
