as soon as I entered this pastry shop I was surrounded by a delicious scent of vanilla, I also visited the production area where the owner, very easy going...in the style of a few words, a lot of work, was baking and churning out the Colombe...tasted it today, sublime! Well deserved 5 stars

10/05/2024: This hotel probably had the best view of any hotel we stayed at in Italy, we slept with the window open most nights as it was so relaxing, but also quite hot in the room without it being open. The bar downstairs is pretty amazing and modern compared to the rest of the hotel with a large seating area with panoramic views of the lake. I’d say the one drawback, and this goes for all of Varenna, is that the entire town was overrun by influencers it felt like, I’d definitely recommend taking the train 5 minutes north to Bellano to get a more authentic feel.
02/04/2024: We stayed here for a night and it was a huge mistake! Should have stayed at least two nights in this lovely hotel. All the staff were so helpful and friendly and they keep on asking if we needed anything. Will definitely stay in this hotel again if ever we’ll get the chance to be back in lake como.

24/02/2024: I'm posting this review after frequenting this place several times Ok maybe it won't be full 5 stars but it won't be 3.8 in terms of reviews either People write about terrible food Rude staff... I don't think they're all young and available, obviously on Saturdays it's very full and so you have to wait a little longer but never mind Expensive prices? Well, I don't know, I ate a bacon burger at 12.5 with about 200g of meat and a lot of chips where cheaper?? I think that if you want to eat decently we can't expect hamburgers for 7-8 euros So I'm not seeing reviews and this rating is so low 5 stars
