Friendly owner that knows his wines, speaks English well and has a great collection of meats and cheeses. Made me a great “Italian Job” sandwich on fresh focaccia.

I only speak English and I was able to communicate well with the very helpful staff. They are very knowledgeable about local wine. I also bought milk there.

This is a real hidden gem in Rome. A typical grocery store with exceptional and uniques gourmet food coming from Amatrice. Everything is of really top quality. You can stop by for a magnificient "panino" gourmet according to the amazing taste and kindness of Lorenzo, who is also a remarkable wine selector. Don't miss it!!

We experienced a lot of amazing food and hospitality during our stay in Rome, but Lorenzo’s energy, knowledge, and enthusiasm made this grocery & deli by far our favorite hidden gem. It is obvious how much he adores giving people great food and sharing his love for local flavor with anyone who stops by. Grazie mille, Lorenzo! See you next time we are in your beautiful city again!

We bought Italian pasta and olive oil. And we also bought bread and raw ham which was really incredible!!! 😙👌🏻 Viva Italia 🇮🇹 Thank you for recommending the restaurant “Osteria de Mario” to us, it was really delicious🍝

Visited from Canada and this was the first place we stopped. Hospitality was unmatched, wine selection was amazing and the sandwiches are fantastic. Thank you for lending us your cork screw to enjoy the lovely wine!

Stopped here by chance with a colleague for a quick sandwich. What about excellent quality raw materials and decidedly competitive prices for the area. It's also great to see the "little shop" in the neighborhood these days, given the fierce competition from the big chains. Keep it up guys! Super super recommended!

17/03/2024: Going down the stairs of the Eritrea restaurant and being immediately surrounded by scents and warm atmospheres is just the prelude to a unique taste experience. Because once seated you are overwhelmed by the spicy flavors of the meats and vegetables served on the ingera, to be eaten strictly with your hands sharing with friends. Service and courtesy at the highest level, which is not at all a given. Highly recommended!
