Unfortunately, we were not completely convinced by the food. But it was good. The service was also pleasant and the house wine was delicious.

We went with my boyfriend on Easter evening, everything was delicious! Starting from the first courses (tortelli with wild boar ragù) accompanied by a delicious Florentine steak and finally the homemade desserts, chocolate cake with pear and cheesecake (delicious!!!). Excellent prices for the quality of the food. We will definitely be back!

Historic restaurant in Florence, located in the market area. It has existed since 1860, the year of the 1000 feat. You can eat the best of Florentine cuisine, from tripe to lampredotto, from wild boar to rabbit accompanied by the legendary beans all'uccelletto, but you can also linger on sumptuous first courses such as pappardelle with wild boar, gnocchi and tortelli or on historic appetizers such as bruschetta and crostini. All well cooked and washed down in the midst of crowded and noisy tables, where tourists are a silent and sporadic minority. I was brought here by a local and low and behold, it was almost all locals in here. A few were eating alone, grabbing a quick lunch just going about day to day life which really made it seem authentic. Or maybe I'm just making that up in my head, idk. I'm a romantic.
House wine was fantastic and at 2 euros a pop, you're essentially losing money not pulling that trigger. That Penne pasta really hit!

Siamo stati per pranzo in questa trattoria, nel centro storico di Firenze, nel quartiere di San Lorenzo. Locale storico, dove assaggiare piatti della tradizione Fiorentina, accolti con il sorriso, sincero e con la battuta pronta, tipici di noi Toscani. Ci siamo accomodati ad un tavolo nella sala principale, ci hanno dato il seggiolone per la nostra bambina e serviti velocemente, nonostante, il locale fosse pieno di persone locali e turisti. Abbiamo ordinato tartare e patate fritte per me, ribollita e peposo dell'Impruneta per mio marito e tortellini al ragù di carne per la piccolina. Per dessert zuccotto artigianale. Vino rosso, acqua e pane. Prezzi onesti. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
