I went to the Battipaglia tavern on Saturday. The intention was to have an aperitif and the waiter welcomed us at the table overlooking the square. We drank some delicious aperitifs and ate various bruschettas and chips. The value for money is absolutely extraordinary. Highly recommended! It will be the first place I return to, in Florence.

Excellent service, high quality food expertly cooked by the cook Giovanna who was able to enhance the taste of each dish with her experience and knowledge... the plating was also beautiful

The photo shows Greek salad and that says it all. Groups of tourists of 30 people are brought to the restaurant... The waiters are bored and leisurely.

My rating is 10 cum laude. An aperitif in the center of Florence with Dante Alighieri looking at you is priceless!!! Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff to whom special thanks go for having made us sit where we wanted most. I recommend the HUGO spritz, fresh, delicate and with a sublime flavour.....the food is excellent.

Very cozy and nice place in the middle of the square in Florence. The food was good, we tried pasta with meatballs and pasta carbonara as well as tiramisu for dessert and were very satisfied with everything. Super nice staff!

07/01/2024: Affascinante locale con volta in mattoni. Piatti toscani. Ottimo cibo di qualità. Personale simpatico. Il posto non è molto grande ma si sta bene.
12/08/2023: Encontré este restaurante de pura casualidad, mirando algo rápido cerca de donde estábamos para comer. Lo cierto es que viendo los comentarios que había ni lo dudé dos veces, y fue un acierto. Buen trato del camarero, comida buena, precio razonable. De esos sitios que volvería.

10/02/2024: posto molto caratteristico, ottima cucina, fiorentina al top, sul tagliere e ben servita. Ottimo vino. Il posto si trova in centro.
05/02/2024: Ottima osteria nel pieno centro di Firenze. Buono il cibo, le pappardelle al cinghiale e i ravioli. Ottimi i crostini come antipasto. Atmosfera rilassante e tranquilla. Simpatica e cortese la ragazza di sala.
