Located in a pedestrian street in the San Lorenzo district, you don't even have the impression of being in Rome, but in a happy island where the outdoor tables are not suffocated by the usual traffic. Particularly pleasant in summer for lunch because it is located on the shaded side of the road. The cuisine is excellent. The menu is based on Roman specialties, prepared with skill and in a reasonably light home-made manner although Roman cuisine can be challenging. Abundant dishes but not excessively expensive. The service is carried out with kindness and availability to requests for some slight changes on the menu. Well done, keep it up!

The perfect restaurant to sit with your partner or family. The service is funny and friendly, and even as tourists we felt like locals. Excellent food, pizza, Carbonara, mussels... We enjoyed everything. We were here every day, whether for dinner or just sitting at Prossec. We highly recommend ☺️

Esperienza positiva da tutti i punti di vista: ambiente accogliente ma non pretenzioso, ampia scelta di piatti, buon equilibrio tra qualità e prezzo. Nota di merito per i carciofi alla romana e per la deliziosa cicoria ripassata.

15/05/2024: An ancient place, in that romantic nostalgic sense that only restaurants that have resisted for decades can convey. The true Roman culinary tradition, revisited just enough to make it special and unforgettable. There are no special mentions, because each dish is an explosion of perfectly balanced and surprising flavours, and I advise you to arrive very hungry, so you can enjoy as much as possible.
