Osteria Pane E Vino In San benedetto del tronto

Located in the heart of San Benedetto, in one of the many characteristic streets, hidden among the colorful houses, this tavern offers good dishes at decidedly fair prices. A mix of truly abundant appetizers will pleasantly lead you to satiety. However, if you are a voracious carnivore like myself, I suggest you go ahead and try the mixed roast (with excellent sausage, lamb and mutton kebabs) with a side dish of baked potatoes and/or salad. I didn't try the first ones but peeking here and there they looked good. The place is well furnished and very clean, the staff very courteous and competent. The only flaw, as already reported by others, is the absence of a menu which could bother some but in my opinion this lack is due to the use of local and seasonal products and the consequent rapid change of the daily menu. If the prices were high it would certainly be worth noting the lack of them but this is not the case: mixed starters for four people, roasts with side dishes for four people, mix of desserts, bread, water and wine and six of us ate there all for less than €25 per person.

Small and well-kept place hidden in an Avia in the center of San Benedetto del Tronto...it's not the first time I've had dinner there...excellent quality, impeccable service...kindness and courtesy

The location is welcoming, the food is simple and genuine. Tasting the dishes makes it clear that the owner, as well as cooking them, knows where to buy the raw materials. Another thing that I really liked is that we are talking about a real Osteria. Where the innkeeper comes to your table wearing an apron to advise you on what to eat and drink. This is a real innkeeper! I work outside San Benedetto del Tronto, but during the holidays I gladly come back to eat here. I thank all the staff of the restaurant for the warm welcome they give me every time.

Posto deliziosamente tranquillo e piacevole. I piatti sono tutti golosissimi, gli antipasti abbondanti i primi gustosi e creativi, un plauso agli spaghetti al limone e salsiccia da provare assolutamente, come pure la carne , arrostiticini tenerissimi e non solo....tutto al top...anche il servizio garbato e puntuale. Che dire...ci torneremo sicuramente!!!
