In the center of Osimo, a beautiful location overlooking the valley below, a minimal and clean environment. Excellent service…. Kindness, professionalism and courtesy. Well-plated dishes, beautiful to look at and good to eat! It was our wedding anniversary and they made a nice surprise dedication on the dessert plate! They offered us bitters at the end of the meal! I came here for the second time with friends after several years, or found the same place, very nice, friendly staff, very good meat starter, the crescia (10+++++), a good first course, and a tiramisu (too much mascarpone) the only flaw, I recommend it

The elegant and singular building where it is located housed the slaughterhouse 50 years ago. It was built in 1800 and features, under the beautiful cornice that surrounds the roof, tondos depicting cattle skulls. The very large and bright interior, almost ecclesiastical, has enormous windows overlooking the fertile valley north of the adorable Osimo. In the spring and summer seasons they offer flaming sunsets. Also inside you can see hexagonal columns with capitals, supporting Gothic arches projecting from the ceiling. From this hang rods and lifting rings, in memory of the "carnivorous" past. After a simple "amusebouche", I delighted in a festive and tasty appetizer of puff pastries with vegetables and burrata. I then passed under the pleasant Caudine forks of paccheri with radicchio, walnuts, pecorino cream from the Marche, with a velvety flavour. I concluded with a healthy sautéed cabbage and a spectacular "crescia" of vegetables. Between one dish and another I admired what was being served to the other customers, gaining an excellent impression. There are many dishes for children on the menu. I also liked the Roana mineral water, coming from a spring in the Sibillini massif. It is advisable to book, given the worthy notoriety of this inappropriate "tavern", entrusted to the creative flair of Chef Massimo Ciccone, supported by a close-knit team. Scenic venue overlooking the valley, excellent service with care and kindness towards the guest. The excellent service makes up for the dishes that didn't completely satisfy me. Spaghetti with cacio e pepe good but not very creamy. Crescia with herbs and focaccia with broad beans are both good. Overall a too broad menu. Decent wine list.

It overlooks the valley (although from the street side one wouldn't expect that). The choice of food is just a notch above standard and the quality is great. They try heard to make your experience just that tiny bit more "chique" than you would expect. And it works!

Siamo stati in questo ristorante dopo esserci passati davanti diverse volte, alla fine è capitata l'occasione e abbiamo prenotato, il locale è in un palazzo storico di Osimo con una vista bellissima sulla campagna, la sala è molto grande e la struttura a voltine e colonne è molto scenica, la cucina è una rivisitazione della tradizione marchigiana, ho trovato i sapori, e questo su tutte le portate, un po' troppo "calzati" per il mio gusto, molte note, anche forti, che si sommavano tra loro. Servizio giovane e spigliato, prezzi nella media per la proposta. Quello che non mi è tanto piaciuto è l'odore di cucina molto forte e presente su tutta la sala. In definitiva ci aspettavamo però qualcosa di più. Mia opinione C.
