We organized a Sunday lunch with some friends and by chance I found this place in the center of Udine attracted by the good reviews on TripAdvisor. What can I say, it was an excellent choice. We were treated like special guests by the super professional and kind staff right from the start. We had a reserved table in an intimate and comfortable location for our small group. Then the food arrived. The appetizer with creamed cod and mantis shrimp was delicious. As a second course we took the mixed grill because it was the Sunday specialty and the meat melted in your mouth, accompanied by the crispy chips it was super. And at the end liqueurs and a lot of sympathy from the boys. We will be back soon!!!

We went to eat today (Sunday). Truly stratospheric grill, truly compliments to the griller, very difficult to eat the meat well but here you certainly won't be disappointed (the rib melted in your mouth). The service is also truly fantastic, the young guys are very kind and professional. Super recommended (especially for barbecues)

Only a few flaws in the service... but we know that no one is perfect. For the rest, this tavern, where I am already at my 3rd experience and never disappointed so far, located near the Cathedral of Udine offers a good range of food, well cooked, well served in a sober and well furnished environment in the classic version of an old Friulian tavern . Here you can taste an excellent house menu with Friulian wines produced mostly in the Cividale area and Spessa where we find excellent vines, so there is no more suitable choice than this. We also find excellent beer and classic drinks. Good prices looking at other places of this kind, especially those regarding the good desserts offered. The 3 euros for a lime, very full, are well spent. Well done to all the staff... keep up the good work. Advised.

Rather plain and nondescript from the outside, but don't walk past, as inside you will find great food and friendly service - and at very reasonable prices indeed! They have a garden at the rear, which is lovely in the summer. They even make their own delicious bread. This restaurant is something of a hidden gem.
