The food is excellent, the service too and the atmosphere very characteristic. Lucky to have chosen this place for my first visit to Ferrara.

Osteria della Campana is a must-visit in Ferrara. Rustic atmospheric vibe, pretty full during lunch time (recommended that you reserve beforehand), and manageable during dinner time (which is when we usually come). For our final dinner in Ferrara, we had grilled cheese with pistachio and balsamic vinegar (grille di scamorza in nido di speck su vellutata di pere e fili di balsamico con cascata di pistacchi), cappelletti cacio e pepe with almonds and cheese (with traditional ferrara pumpkin filling), and pork (filletto di maiale in salsa di senape) - which seemed like little steaks with the most delicious sauce. And naturally the traditional moist torta tenerina for dessert.

A delightful little place, the place has a vintage and very welcoming atmosphere, the staff who welcomed us were adorable, affable, very kind and attentive. The food, we ordered typical dishes, was excellent.

A pleasant surprise! While passing through Ferrara we found this tavern by chance... it was an excellent opportunity to get to know a traditional place in the city centre.
Ate very well, excellent quality food and prepared with passion, Ferrara bread 🔝
Nice and relaxing environment, very kind and organized staff.

We had dinner this evening at the Osteria della Campana.
The courtesy of all the staff, the tidy and relaxed environment, the goodness of the dishes chosen (very tasty, right portion) were a guarantee of a wonderful evening.

Locale con una bellissima atmosfera e , al primo impatto, con camerieri gentili e professionali. Dopo avere mangiato il primo (ottimi i cappellacci) e' calato l'oblio!!!
A digestione avvenuta (quasi una ora di attesa) sono arrivati i secondi, ottimi pure questi. Nuova magia. con sparizione del personale e dopo il solito tempo biblico sono arrivati i dolci. Abitualmente mi piace stare seduto al tavolo senza fretta, pero' qui si e' esagerato. E' un peccato perche' il locale e' veramente carino, il cibo e' ottimo e il rapporto qualita' prezzo notevole. Nota di cronaca, per non fare arrivare la primavera il caffe' e gli amari sono andato ad ordinarli io.
