EVERYTHING NORMAL NOTHING NEW. MEDIOCRE

We arrived around 645pm, with no reservation, which is early for Italians to eat! But we were welcomed in by the owner and his staff. He is very friendly and while he speaks good English, he also was very patient while I spoke my little Italian. The food is fantastic, home cooked style, with lots and lots of variety. There is also buffet style for starters which was served with the freshest creamiest of buffalo mozzarella. Lots of vegetarian options. The main menu is hand written which gives a loving touch. I had baked cod and anchovies, delicious ! Portions are a good size with complimentary craft bread on tap. Prices are very reasonable, wine was local and matched the food perfectly. We were served by a number of waiters, all were, polite, respectful and patient. The owner gave us limoncello and another liquor to finish, the perfect ending to a memorable meal. If there was an option for 6 stars I would have given it. Just a perfect Osteria style restaurant in the heart of Caserta.

We were immediately welcomed by the very kind and friendly owner who made us feel at ease... the food was very good, I chose a rare steak which did not disappoint my tastes. The house wine was a must try! Super discovery, we will definitely be back ❤️

The restaurant. Small but super warm atmosphere, abundant and delicious traditional dishes... I highly recommend the buffalo, phenomenal.

Outstanding place. The couple that owns it are so friendly and accommodating. We don't speak a lot of italian but they were very helpful and patient. The food with fantastic. The whole place has a very homey, comfortable vibe. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the Caserta/ Naples area.

Excellent tavern with quality food. I appreciated a short menu, because when the dishes are limited in choice they take more care in the preparation. The service was punctual and informal. Lively and homely atmosphere. Well done.

Se volete mangiare il cibo campano come se fosse preparato a casa, questo è il posto giusto. Io non so che segreto utilizzino nella preparazione della salsa di pomodoro che mettono sulla bruschetta ma, credetemi, ne avrei mangiate altre 10. Un plauso allo staff per i sorrisi e la cordialità.

locale carino.piccolo.obbligatoria la prenotazione. cucina tradizionale (quella di casa) sia di carne che di pesce. buoni i prodotti ma niente di eccezionale... buone le polpette per antipasto. buona la carta dei vini.
