Osteria da Mariano In Venezia

Award-winning typical Venetian cuisine tavern. The environment is certainly characteristic and the staff is kind and friendly. We ate/tasted a few things: from Gò risotto to fried fish, from creamed cod to Venetian cod. From cuttlefish to the legendary "moeche" (which are nothing else than small crabs that, in a specific and limited period of the year, change their moult and are fried and eaten completely). Not exactly cheap for a tavern but the quality and tradition absolutely deserve a visit. Well done!

Typical Venetian cuisine restaurant. In addition to the dishes on the menu, dishes of the day are offered depending on the fresh catch. Wide choice of wines. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the service attentive and always available. The portions are generous, we had dinner with a starter and a main course each, wine and dessert, and were very satisfied. We will be back to try different dishes!

During our recent visit to Mestre, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and freshness of the fish offered at the Osteria da Mariano. The unique and welcoming atmosphere created the perfect setting for a relaxing evening. The service was impeccable: the staff was attentive and knowledgeable, ready to suggest dishes based on our preferences. We particularly appreciated the risotto di gò, a simple and delicious dish. Particular praise goes to the presentation of the dishes, refined and inviting, which made each course a small visual masterpiece. We were also satisfied with the quality-price ratio, making the experience even more pleasant. In conclusion, I highly recommend the tavern to those looking for quality fresh fish. It's a place we will definitely return to, eager to explore their menu further.

Sembra quasi un'osteria di quartiere, in realtà è un ottimo ristorante che presenta anche piatti insoliti, con attenzione alla materia prima e alla stagionalità. Bella atmosfera e personale molto gentile. Prezzi non proprio economici ma ne vale la pena. In tre abbiamo preso un antipasto di mazzancolle, una frittura, un primo di pesce, un germano, tre dolci e abbiamo speso 120€
