I have been in Italy for the passed 2 years,and 2 weeks ago' we had a close friend visiting from Toronto,he wanted to visit Lecce,and when we got to Lecce,we were looking for a place to dine,we find 3 different groups of people that advices us to go to Angiulino,and after we dined there it was the best place I found for food ,service,atmosphere,price ,satisfaction,every thing that has to do with Osteria da Angiulino,is the best I have found in 2 years living in Italy,as a matter of fact,I keep talking to everyone I know,to go there if they are in Lecce on day,one big advice for Osteria da Angiulino,,,,please keep it up,don't change,,,,,you are the best arround Puglia,,,,,

You will not be disappointed. Local cuisine well served. I recommend the antipasto for 2 people like mezze, not sure if you will still be hungry afterwards! nice and fast service, inexpensive.

Dinner with typical Salento dishes, in a friendly and easy-going atmosphere. Very kind and super fast waiters!
Homemade appetizer with typical vegetables and boiled chicory plus sagne 'ncannulate with tomato and cacioricotta and 1 liter of house wine, 45 euros! Stupendous! Super recommended!!

È una caratteristica osteria leccese a pochi minuti dal centro città.
L'ambiente si presenta accogliente e tranquillo.
Mangiato come antipasto delle polpettine di cavallo fritte, di primo un piatto di ciciri e tria e di secondo turcinieddhri.
Cibo buono e porzioni adeguate.
Ottimo il servizio, prezzo finale congruo.

Il locale mi è stato consigliato per la semplicità della cucina e la lunga attività. In effetti era tutto pieno e strano a dirsi ma l'estrema velocità, (circa 5 min.di attesa dall'ordinazione per ricevere la pasta al sugo, calda si ma non fumante come quando appena scolata), mi ha fatto pensare a qualcosa di già parcheggiato in cucina e ripreso al microonde.
30 euro per due pietanze e contorno a testa, senza vino o bevande li avrei pagate tranquillamente ma almeno una parvenza di cucina dedicata ci sarebbe voluta.
