Nice local atmosphere!
Squid ink pasta was delicious! !
I visited when it was open for lunch and was able to get in right away. The table was very crowded with people eating tapas and drinking.
Apparently you can't order tapas at a table, but I wanted to eat pasta, so I sat at a table.
It didn't seem like it was on the blackboard menu, but thankfully, I asked the staff for squid ink pasta and they made it for me. The squid ink pasta was a hit! It was very delicious. My partner had the ravioli, but I really liked the squid ink pasta.
To eat skewers and very well cooked homemade dishes such as risotto and eggplant lassagna... ahh and music appropriate to the place, reggae, ska,...

The menu prices are reasonable but the wine prices are very high. No vino della casa - the minimum price is 8 Euro per glass (150ml).
Plenty of tables inside with a few outside. Service was speedy.
The coperto is only 2 euro and you get a yummy selection of bread (although no side plates so you just put crumbs everywhere).
I had the Tonnarelli carbonara which was a little hard (either not fresh or slightly undercooked). I’ve had it at other places and it’s better than this.
Finally my plate and bread were taken as soon as I put my fork down. No La scarpetta here (wiping the plate with bread). As I was a solo diner who only had a primi and wine, I felt that they tried to hurry me out.

It doesn't matter if there is no place to sit, you just have to live the experience of eating and drinking here and even better if you are in good company.

The perfect place to try out Venice’s cinchetti with a glass of vino. Lovely service, they tell you what is on offer and make sure you get a vino that suits.

Perfect very italian place for casual dining. Gnocchi with duck was incredibly tasty. We were a little disappointed that the tagliatelle with shrimp still had shell on which is awkward with sauce but flavour great. Would totally recommend

Esta concorrida Osteria na Calle della Malvasia é o que há de mais autêntico da culinária veneziana. É uma cicchetteria que não comporta o volume de pessoas que lá se aglomeram para saborear os seus antipastos e pratos. Sendo assim, caso queira almoçar ou jantar, procure sempre fazer uma reserva antecipada. Os frutos do mar são a grande pedida, mas a "pasta con seppie in nero" também é fantástica! Optamos pelo "spaghetti alla scogliera" e pela "frittura di pesce e verdurini", ambos sensacionais.
