The price-performance ratio is really good. The food, or rather the pasta, tasted great, you will definitely be full and the service is very polite. Overall, the entire atmosphere in the restaurant is also very cozy. There is also no “Coperto” (service/tip) included in the bill.

Nice restaurant in the back streets of Venice. The welcome was very warm, the owner very kind, and we ate very well. The pasta and fegato are excellent. Restaurant to recommend without hesitation

A real environment, a genuine manager who accompanied us in choosing truly well-executed typical dishes. Venetian-style liver with typical white polenta and a mouth-watering tiramisu. Mr. Vittorio followed us, a true gentleman with kind manners. Advised!

Very friendly environment and lovely people. The food was amazing and we were very welcomed at San Barnaba. Definitely coming back when we are back to Venice.

Very rich!! Don't go to the side! It puts different prices outside but inside the menu is the same and the cook has nothing to do with it! Much better this one, the clam pasta and especially the super delicious tiramisu!! We also told him that we had gone to the fes across the street and that the risotto was bad for us the next day and he offered us a chamomile (super nice)

Osteria al Bacareto

28/12/2023: First night in Venice and recommended by a local. Their choice was excellent since both food and service were top class and the wine was reasonably priced. I made a choice from a list of largely unfamiliar wines to be guided to a more appropriate less expensive choice suiting our food selections better! It is all about local recipes here with a limited menu but excellent mostly local fish and seafood recipes. Generous portions at fair prices and very children tolerant.
26/12/2023: Siamo arrivati che era pieno ma, nonostante ciò e nonostante avessimo un cagnolone con noi, hanno fatto di tutto per farci accomodare. Servizio veloce e presente, ti sanno consigliare quali vini abbinare ai vari piatti. Noi abbiamo provato i classici cicchetti, fegato alla veneziana e poi un dolce al mascarpone e agli amaretti. Uno spritz e un calice di Lugana. Il tutto per meno di 80 euro. Fermatevi e divertitevi

Pizzeria Spaghetteria Bar Sport

11/10/2023: Great location, and delicious food (even though I had to struggle to find a vegetarian dish). Free wifi and good service.
01/09/2023: Meal was one of the best I’ve had while visiting Venice. My friend and I wanted a small lunch so we shared a spaghetti with shellfish. It was made to perfection. A decent amount of clams, cockles, one teeny langoustine and some mussels. Price was reasonable. We had a spritz and a Hugo. Wait service was excellent. If you are visiting Burano (which you must do as a day trip from Venice) head immediately to Bar Sport.
