Locale nel cuore del quartiere Umbertino, offre un menu con piatti dalle materie prime di qualità! Eccellente accoglienza e servizio al tavolo da parte del personale! Sublime il primo piatto di tagliolini al tartufo bianco!
Unica nota all’oste: pur trattandosi di un piatto fuori menù, spesso presente nell’offerta dei piatti del giorno, per correttezza andrebbe riferito il costo del piatto o creato un menú dei piatti del giorno.
Costo del piatto esoso ma meritatissimo!

This place got off to a great start. Good venue, nice ambiance, helpful friendly staff, some speak English.
Started with melted Scamaroza(sp?) cheese appetizer with crumbled bread things they make in a curly cue and onion jam. Very tasty. Moved to a twice baked potato with cheese and parma ham, then the noodles with white truffles ( truffle season! – be careful, not a cheap dish, but not as expensive as I feared, 45 euros - was very good, worth every bit) Grilled veggies were mostly eggplant and zucchini. Susan had sirloin cap steak, which was very nice. I tried the tagliata, which they said was New Yorks most famous cut. I assumed that meant filet, or maybe ribeye – it was not. Not Either. Turned out to be breaded, pounded thin cutlets, kinda like the veal for veal parmigiana, but not veal. Is chicken fried steak the most popular steak in New York? Anyway, not at all what I was expecting. Overall a good meal, but I’d skip the tagliata – go for the entrecote – saw that at other tables and it looked amazing. That was real steak. Good wine list. It occurred to me; the waiter asked me how I wanted it cooked. (Rare, medium, well, etc.) You wouldn't do that for breaded cutlets. So maybe I was served the wrong dish. Who knows. Part of the fun of travel.
Restaurant also had horse, donkey and zebra on the menu. No, didn't try any of it.
