IF YOU WANT TO TRY NEW SAPROI THEN NESCY IS THE RIGHT PLACE. THE PLACE IS CARED FOR DOWN TO THE MINIMUM DETAIL, THE STAFF IS VERY KIND AND VERY AVAILABLE BUT IT'S THE FOOD THAT REALLY MAKES THE DIFFERENCE. NEW DISHES WITH EXCELLENT QUALITY RAW MATERIALS, THE BEST FRIED I HAVE EVER EATEN. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. IT IS DEFINITELY NOT A SANDWICH SHOP AND THE EXPECTATIONS IN BOTH QUALITY AND PRICE MUST NOT BE THOSE OF A SANDWICH SHOP BUT CLOSER TO THOSE OF A RESTAURANT.

Pushed by the gust of rain in this little restaurant in Castellammare, we had a great time.
Excellently cooked fresh fish, very delicious artisanal panettone accompanied with jams and creams.
We found the typical Sicilian flavors.

I had a sandwich with fresh tuna and I enjoyed it very much. I've been to many places, but this will remain one of my favorites.

We stumbled into this restaurant socked to the skin on a windy rainy night. Turned out we were the only customers. Bedraggled as we were , we were madevey welcome by the stuff. Menus appeared quickly, followed by good quality house wine. The chef presided, wearing use whites. Food was very good, maybe a little less traditionally Siciian, and carefully thought through. Execution was spot on. Highlights were the mini arancini and the smoked swordfish bruschetta. Would recommend.
NB Main access to Nescy is about halfway down a flight of broad steps, which would make wheelchair access very difficult. There is a rear entrance off the road at the back but there are still steps up to the main level.

Wir haben ein nettes Abendessen genossen im Außenbereich des Restaurants. Als Antipasto die leckere Bruschetta, Vorspeise die Spaghetti alla seppia (waren auch für mich als Italiener zu sehr al dente) und dann Thunfisch. Alles frisch, solide zubereitet. Zu empfehlen.
