There was a very limited food menu but they had the basics, chicken salad 10€, panini’s 5-10€. Drinks were not the cheapest 3€, beer is 4-5€. They brought the food and drinks quickly though. They don’t let you sit in the covered area unless you have a ‘reservation’ which was kind of annoying but there no problem finding a table.

Drinks are okay and the location is good too. What really bothered us is that there are toilets, but no water to wash your hands. There is no toilet paper.

Pay attention when they bring you the receipt, a tourist was seen arriving for two cappuccinos €12.00. That after a lot of explanations, in the end the cashier, unable to help himself, refunded him the extra money that the customer had paid... what a shame for the people of Palermo,,,,

22/09/2023: We found this local spot close to our hotel and was greeted by friendly faces. We felt like this was a place the locals came to hang out and have a bite to eat at good prices. We all shared 2 paninis, and some fries and some cold beer served in glasses. The food was just right and we came away happy. Great local spot to grab I bite to eat.
14/09/2023: We had breakfast here every morning during our stay in Palermo, it was just great. Delicious food and delicious coffee at unbeatable prices. Particularly worthy of mention are the extremely hospitable owners and their friendly staff. We would come back here at any time. Simply GREAT!

Ristorante Pizzeria del Viale

15/05/2024: We chose this place to celebrate a birthday with friends and relatives. The welcome was splendid. “We felt like we were at home.” The dishes were excellent and plentiful: - a tasting of cured meats and cheeses - caponata - mushrooms and sausage - house ragù - mixed roast with first choice and very tender meat - a side salad The dishes were prepared with homemade products, most of which were zero km. The ending in which “Gianni” filled us with the inevitable cannoli on sight was exceptional. Thanks to Mrs Nina for her attention to everyone's tastes, intolerances and allergies. We had a great time and hope to come back to visit you soon. I can't talk about the rooms or the hotel because we didn't stay.
