Wir waren - am 3.1.2024 - im hübschen alten Hügeldorf Rossano und dort waren alle Restaurants geschlossen. Durch Zufall sind wir auf das sympathische Maqueda Restaurant in Rossano Neustadt gestossen und wurden mit unseren zwei Windhunden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Essen war wunderbar, wir waren erst nach 14.00 Uhr dort und mussten uns auch nicht beeilen. Die Vorspeisen und das lauwarme Brot (durch den Besitzer selber nach der slow food Methode gebacken), herrlich. Bestes Olivenöl aus Rossano war auf dem Tisch. Die Hauptgänge und Desserts (hausgemacht!) top! Am Abend soll es Pizza geben, mit einem Teig, den sie über lange Zeit aufgehen lassen, das ist sehr bekömmlich. Wir werden sie probieren kommen! 20/11/2023: We had a wonderful experience in this restaurant.. we went for dinner this evening.. I would first like to point out the staff, the two guys of Filipino nationality.. they are very kind, friendly and professional.. from booking the table to the advice on the dishes up to the fine.. however regarding the dishes they are fresh and not the usual frozen ones.. we will certainly be back.. thanks again to the two Filipinos..
16/07/2023: The food is excellent, really high quality and the quantity is also adequate! The only flaw is that unfortunately the interior is absolutely not accessible for disabled wheelchairs and I had to dine outside, this limits the choice in the cold seasons. For the rest, we highly recommend it!
