The Mitterkaser Alm, as the name suggests, is located in the middle of the ancient Val di Fosse, easily reachable on a comfortable road, in about an hour's walk. Here, the Rainer family, also called "Infanglers", after the name of their farm at the entrance to the Val di Fosse, has created an authentic mountain refuge. A sort of time capsule, where there is no place for frenetic modern life and where instead it is nature that marks time. A wonderful accommodation, first impression: lush floral decorations; extremely friendly hosts, excellent food, pleasant conversations while eating. All in all highly recommended!

Stunning mountain hut with a beautiful view of the snow-capped peaks. Refreshment point with excellent, quality food and friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Very nice, rustic old alpine pasture with a super nice host. Delicious food and breakfast. The stay was an experience that we can recommend to everyone.

We stayed there last week to stay overnight. So we've never had an older hut that's 1260 years old, that's something. We were well looked after by the whole family and were sad to continue walking. We wish you much success and strength for the next few years. The 7 Dwarfs + Snow White

It was the penultimate hut on our hike and the one where we felt most comfortable. The landlord and his wife are very friendly and have managed to breathe new life into this hut in two summers. We were only able to stay one night, but we will have fond memories of this hut. We wish you continued enthusiasm for your ideas. Thomas Budnowski

It was soooo beautiful!! An incredible experience on the Mitterkaser Alm that I will never forget. The innkeepers were very, very nice and sweet. Great food and cozy terrace. Luckily I found this accommodation on the Meraner Höhenweg.

Una vera malga di montagna di vecchio stampo. Assieme ad alcuni amici abbiamo utilizzato il sevizio mezza pensione. La cena era ottima ed abbondante. Stessa cosa per quanto riguarda la colazione, dolce e salato. Bravissima la giovane signora che gestisce la malga da sola accudendo anche agli animali che ci sono- Da consigliare sicuramente.

Wir waren im Rahmen der Meraner Höhenweg (Texelgruppe) unterwegs und benötigten eine Unterkunft für eine Nacht. Wir hatten bei der Tour unseren Hund dabei. Wir wurde sehr herzlich aufgenommen. Das Essen ist sehr gut und das Personal sehr nett. Das Zimmer/Haus (ein mehrere Hundert Jahre altes Bauernstübchen) war sehr nett. Die Unterkunft ist rustikal und ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut Danke Kiki!!!! Kleiner Tipp -- frühzeitig buchen!!!!
