A place that exudes enthusiasm and quality. I loved it and was fully satisfied with every course.
It offers a menu that is not extensive but very refined, varied and with the right balance of originality and tradition.
The staff is friendly and very conversational.
Their wine is also very good. Nice to find a place that is based on passion as well as business.
Beautiful view then. The only minus is the narrowness of the location, but obviously it's not a problem.
Note: I discovered that it was also open after several attempts to telephone contact to book with no response, to take this into account.

When I have a business dinner at a certain level I always come to this place...eating here is not just about gorging on food but it is an experience for your taste buds...the owner is uniquely kind...the place is fine and well well looked after, you immediately feel at ease... the prices 🤣🤣 for what it offers are truly within everyone's reach......scattered grapes and then the Marsi wine, truly always the right accompaniment to its fantastic menus.. BRAVO..BRAVO ALL

A truly exceptional place... from the rustic but stylish location, from the kind, professional owner who makes you feel at home... to the cuisine which is the real highlight... excellent quality raw materials and craftsmanship in the various pasta formats. .(the gnocchi prepared by the owner's 92 year old mother)🤤all lamb...etc etc all to be tested and left very satisfied...to return

We found this place via the internet and decided to try it thanks to the photos on the internet that had intrigued us and... thank goodness!!! In addition to the beauty of the venue, the intimate atmosphere, the fast service and the very kind staff, the restaurant offers an interesting choice of dishes and a selection of wines (also of their own production). Delicious dishes and equally good wine. We will definitely be back.

We have been in the Locanda twice, and had the best time. Sandro is a wonderful host, and his restaurant is an oasis of a warm atmosphere and delicious Abruzzan food and wine. Do not miss it if you are in the area.

Celano è un borgo che si staglia dalla piana del Fucino verso le montagne della Serra. Predomina però sulla natura il castello fortezza dei Piccolomini che di notte si illumina di romanticismo. Ecco, in un vicoletto adiacente si affaccia questo ristorante raccolto da soffitti a volta di mattoni a vista. Una grotta ricca di cose buone, ghiotte, a partire da vini scelti a paste fatte in casa, profumi di spezie e frutti di stagione. Accoglie gli ospiti - siano essi locali che turisti, giovani e famiglie - l'anfitrione Sandro, gestore esperto e sensibile. L'ambiente diventa ben presto caldo e socievole, sostenuto dal Montepulciano e dalla zuppa di farro, ortaggi e petali di calendula. A seguire, brasato, morbido e sapido, immerso nella salsa di cottura. Semifreddo ai frutti di bosco accompagnato da un bicchierino di mosto ridotto. Colori vivaci espressi dalla sostanza buona.
