To be recommended without a doubt! Simple but nice and clean place, truly excellent hospitality and service, Mr. Marco made us feel at home. Roman, Tuscan and Umbrian cuisine, pizzas, fresh bread, excellent oil. All served with great kindness, explaining the origin and history of the dishes. We will definitely be back!

Local on the outskirts of Castiglione del Lago, beyond Castiglione for those coming from the north, towards Pucciarelli and Muffa, a little away from Lake Trasimeno. Lack of specific road signs. From the outside it appears quite anonymous. Inside there are two rooms for around 50 seats in total. Sober furnishings, with some period handcrafted furniture, wooden tables and straw seats. Menu with dishes from the Umbrian, Lazio and Tuscan cuisine, land and lake dishes. Some traditional dishes are undoubtedly good but a little... challenging for digestion. It also offers a pizzeria service, I assume only in the evening. Rather simple but quick service, also thanks to the few seats at the time of the visit. Toilets and generally excellent cleanliness. Honest prices.

Family-run place; nice, well kept and very clean. In the kitchen the lady has great skill in preparing typical Umbrian, Tuscan and even Lazio dishes. In the dining room, the husband who follows you through lunch with courtesy and precision, expounding typical features of the area. Excellent quality local wine. Very low final price. I was pleasantly satisfied...I will return!

Questo ristorante si trova a pochi minuti dal centro di Castiglione del lago,ma è assolutamente da provare: il menù è molto vario e spazia dalle pappardelle con ragù bianco e porcini, al lampredotto, dalla coda alla vaccinara agli arrosticini. Molto validi anche i dolci. Prezzi davvero competitivi.

Nice inn, genuine food with well-cooked typical local recipes. Simple, essential but pleasant environments. The entire staff is very nice and polite, especially the owner who takes orders and serves at the tables.

Welcoming place, friendly staff, excellent food (exceptional cured meats and cheeses, beans with rinds like butter, very good pici all'aglione, spectacular snails), very honest prices.

Tested at the end of September, after returning from holidays. The cuisine varies based on the specialties of the regions of central Italy, tasty and pleasant. The owner is very nice and affable.

A pleasant discovery. This restaurant was "coupled" with our farm. Really welcoming, helpful, courteous service. Really good food. Really good tagliatelle with lake fish sauce. For the first time we also ate snails. All good! To return.

Conosciuta per caso durante il weekend 19-21gennaio '24 devo dire non ci aspettavamo di trovare un ambiente famigliare e accogliente, molto simpatico e disponibile. Cucina Umbra, Toscana e Romana... di cui, da buon romano, ho chiesto le specialità sul menu. Tutto ottimo, qualità del cibo e preparazione ottima! Ci torneremo in primavera...
