No set menu , as it changes every day. No prices shown, staff speaks VERY or no English. We had ragu pasta it was amazing and porcini pasta which was OK, but needed a bit of salt. Pasta was 10 euro each, so not expensive. In general it was great !

Congratulations to the Chef who is Mr. Giovanni's wife, she was able to combine the flavors of two regions making everything sweeter and tastier, I may be biased but she gave that touch of Sicilianness that you didn't expect in Calabrian cuisine which is already good in its own right.

After several years I happened to have to ask to take away the first course because of how abundant the starter was, consisting of 'two typical Calabrian things'. I speak as someone who is completely ignorant of Calabrian cuisine, but in the various times that I went to this restaurant, all the dishes I tasted were of excellent quality. I was very intrigued by the 'nduja in the earthenware saucer on the candle as a source of heat. The only flaw: not having a stomach with an infinite capacity available.

Storica trattoria Reggina. Antipasti misti sublimi (la nduja calda con i crostini, il macco di ceci, i fagioli piccanti, lo spezzatino di maialino, i salumi e le frittatine di zucca), primi ottimi (stroncatura e fileja con ragù di maialino) così come il maialino speziato con le patate. Ottimo il vino della casa

Locale ben curato, sito in posizione centrale a Reggio, a poca distanza dal Corso Garibaldi, può vantare una varietà molto ampia di antipasti, tipici che spaziano dalla fagiolata, ai crauti, alla 'nduja, alle polpette della nonna. Due primi abbondanti che variano in relazione alla stagione; stracotto con patate e cipolle, succulento. Dessert nella norma. Rapporto qualità-prezzo adeguato. Cucina casereccia. Da ritornarci
