We ate there twice in a row because it was so delicious and the service was so incredibly nice. If we are in Milan again we will definitely come back!

Restaurant not far from the central station on foot. The service was a little long at the start (the card arrived after 20 minutes) then went well afterwards. The pizza and pasta were good but too salty for our taste. Too bad it spoiled the moment a bit. The dessert was good (Nutella cheesecake) but so expensive for this micro portion! Either leave it at €8 but add more to that account, or reduce it to €5/6. The toilets were flooded.

Arrived at 745 pm. without a reservation and was offered a table. But we must be finished by 9pm because the table was reserved, fine with us. Here lies the problem, you seat us at 750 p.m., but no one comes to take a drink or food order until I stop a waiter at 810 pm. They asked if they could bring my appetizer with dinner since time was short, and that was fine. We did see food arrive until around 835pm. Again, a waiter never came back to offer drinks or anything until we asked for a box for leftovers. Pizza was good, Salmon filet was ok, linguine with clam sauce was good but the calamari in it was rubber.

First meal after landing in Milano. Luggage never made it on the flight to Milan so we were a bit flustered, grimy, and hangry. Stayed at a nearby hotel so this was perfect. Apertivo, pizza, even the bread appetizers were delicious. We sat outside with a nice breeze- would come again!

Ottima pizza da asporto. Sia l'impasto che il pomodoro di ottima qualità. Consiglio a chi vuole mangiare una buona pizza napoletana tradizionale

Osteria Mamma Rosa

21/05/2024: A very fine Osteria, the perfect end to our stay in Milan. Even though we hadn't made a reservation, we still got a table, even though the restaurant was very busy during the evening. At the beginning there was a glass of Prosecco on the house. The selection of dishes for the starter and the main course was large, but the wine selection was even larger. We thought it was great that there were also 0.375l bottles, although in the end we ended up using a “normal” bottle of Pinot Grigio. Although my partner was full after the main course, she was immediately hooked when she saw the desserts, all of which the waiter presented on a large tray, and chose the yoghurt with fruit. I chose the tiramisu in a terracotta pot. The staff was very attentive, the various pictures of Italian places on the walls are just a matter of taste. We liked them. The long wire mesh as a lamp on the ceiling is also very stylish. Overall, we were extremely pleasantly surprised at the price, as we only paid around €70 per person for the great ambience and starter, main course, dessert, wine, water and coffee.
19/05/2024: Today we celebrated our 40th wedding. always a great place.
