Passing through Montevarchi we happen to have a snack or breakfast at Canu. The bakery, squash and similar products are really of a good standard, the pastry shop has, in my opinion, room for improvement. The Schiacciata with mortadella is highly recommended.

Se apprezzate un gran tagliere dei migliori salumi toscani e/o potete concedervi alle tentazioni di una ottima e variegata produzione di dolci od anche se avete fretta e cercate un posto per uno spuntino od un pranzo veloce e senza molte pretese qui vi troverete senza dubbio molto bene. La pasticceria è di qualità pregevole, molto buoni i salumi (fantastica la “sbriciolona”) ed i panificati (ma non sempre avrete una schiacciata “calda” servita al tavolo) mentre per i primi piatti purtroppo non si supera il livello medio. Prezzi accettabili, servizio ai tavoli con qualche lacuna.

When I go to Montevarchi a stop in this place is a must. This time I did an encore. Breakfast and lunch. Super good pasta and, for lunch, fabulous sliced ​​beef. Spectacular pasta counter, the baked products are also delicious with very good bread and focaccia. Also worth trying is the pizza. Prices normal. Go there.

Spesso frequento questo "bistrot". Colazioni, pranzi, cene, spuntini e aperitivi. Location adatta a qualsiasi esigenza culinaria. Ottimi i prodotti. Servizio impeccabile. Prezzi nella norma vista la qualità dei prodotti e del servizio offerti. Ampio parcheggio nelle vicinanze o di fronte.

31/03/2024: We arrived a group of nine late in the night and they friendly offered us a table. The pizzas was so good! We tried 3 places in San Sabino and this one was the best pizza🍕

08/04/2024: We ate pizza so I can't comment on the other courses. The pizza is good, digestible, well cooked and well seasoned. The tomato (just for my personal taste) is a little sweet. The price is more or less normal, although if the cover charge is €2.50 and still water is €2.50 it seems a bit too much to me. But that's fine anyway, because the staff is so kind and also the friendly and smiling owner, who is there. Good rating.
