Many times you look for a hot dish on the fly and end up in a sad fast food restaurant eating a sandwich made with who knows what. Then on the corner you discover this small place, where with a wide choice of piadine, there is a minimalist but quality menu, with homemade dishes, simple but tasty. Drinks and wines for all tastes, without entering sophisticated cellars. Nice and pleasant staff...all family.

The piadineria is located a stone's throw from the center of Castel di Sangro, in a quiet corner with the possibility of parking nearby; the location offers seats both inside and outside. Friendliness is at home!!! Excellent quality of products and good presentation of dishes; possibility to taste, in addition to the piadine (exceptional), also first and second courses of meat. It's not the usual fast food…..Really recommended!!!

17/02/2024: Dal 2017 che mancavamo qui a Roccaraso, e come le altre volte siamo stati a La Staffa. Buona trattoria con prodotti tipici. Personale gentile e disponibile. Prezzi nella media locale.
11/12/2023: Ci ritorno volentieri, si mangia bene, piatti tipici con materie prime locali, mi è piaciuto il tartufo di San Pietro Avellana su tagliatelle ai funghi porcini. Tutto buono da antipasti, primi, carne tagliata di angus, dolce crostata con amarene locali molto buona. Per celiaci poca...

22/11/2023: L’esterno poco appariscente non tragga in inganno: siete in presenza di una trattoria di primo ordine. L’interno si presenta ben curato e attraente. Gradevole, in questa stagione, il camino acceso, che contribuisce a creare un’atmosfera che sa di antico e di pace. Il menù propone alcune ricette collaudate del territorio, unitamente a qualche proposta più eclettica. Il tutto preparato con grande maestria e con un uso attento di selezionate materie prime. Prezzi abbordabili.
08/10/2023: Ci siamo fermati per caso a mangiare di passaggio per il ritorno a casa: scelta fortunata! Location rilassante curata e pulita servizio veloce e professionale piatti gustosi innovativi ma senza strafare senza trascurare il “fatto in casa”. Consigliato
