Small restaurant with excellent product quality! Typical Apulian home cooking... we had lunch with the family and we felt at home... highly recommended!

Excellent Apulian restaurant: quick and essential service, lots of variety of dishes, all very good and at a low price. The place isn't beautiful, but it's absolutely worth it

This place is truly wonderful. The quality of the raw materials is undeniable and the way of cooking is also very interesting. Clean and simple dishes, traditional Apulian cuisine and well-individualized tastes and generous portions. Good value for money. Professional and excellent service, fantastic attitude of the hosts. Typical Apulian desserts, not to my complete liking, I was missing something chocolaty but people seemed happy with the almond desserts.

Ho avuto l'occasione di provare il ristorante L'Ancora di Trieste a fine dicembre 2023. Il locale si trova in una zona centrale della città, in via Vittorio Veneto. L'ambiente è piuttosto datato, con arredi che sembrano appartenere a un'altra epoca. Il servizio è cortese, ma un po' distaccato. Il menu propone piatti della cucina pugliese, con un'attenzione particolare ai prodotti freschi. In conclusione, la mia esperienza al ristorante L'Ancora è stata positiva. I piatti sono buoni e il rapporto qualità-prezzo è interessante. Tuttavia, l'ambiente datato e il servizio distaccato potrebbero essere migliorati. Pranzo di battesimo. Abbiamo ricevuto i complimenti di tutti gli ospiti per la qualità del cibo mangiato e per la velocità e cortesia del servizio. Per quanto riguarda il prezzo, assolutamente ottimo in rapporto alla quantità e alla bontà di quello che abbiamo mangiato. Promosso a pienissimi voti.

Baptism lunch. We received compliments from all the guests for the quality of the food eaten and for the speed and courtesy of the service. As for the price, absolutely excellent in relation to the quantity and goodness of what we ate. Passed with full marks.

Excellent food, the owner Vito with his wife Mr. Carla, they offer excellent Apulian food. Price normal. Also recommended for groups
