Nice location in the greenery located in the heights of Rapallo composed of three large rooms (in summer you have lunch and dinner outdoors under wooden canopies), offering a wide range of Ligurian cuisine and grilled meat. Fast and courteous service, average wine list, but with some gems, from which we took a 2018 Gattinara from the Torraccia del Piantavigna company in Ghemme (NO), a really nice bottle (38 Euros well spent!) which was perfectly paired with the dishes savored. First we had two portions of pansöti with walnut sauce and a mandilli with pesto, served in very generous and tasty portions. Moving on to the second courses, this is truly the kingdom of carnivores, we in fact took a Florentine steak of around 9 hg (47 Euro/kg, a price considered absolutely correct), a veal rib and a pork chop, accompanied by delicious fresh French fries (not frozen!). Really delicious meat! Finally, as desserts we had a green apple sorbet, a crem caramel and a creme brulee, which were also very good. One water, two coffees and three Camatti bitters for a final bill of 190 Euros for three which is considered absolutely correct. Recommended place for all types of customers.

Location carina nel verde situata nelle alture di Rapallo composta da tre ampie sale (d'estate si pranza e cena all'aperto sotto delle tettoie di legno), offre una vasta gamma di piatti della cucina ligure e carne cotta alla brace. Servizio veloce e cortese, carta dei vini nella norma, ma con qualche chicca, da cui abbiamo preso un Gattinara 2018 dell'Azienda Torraccia del Piantavigna di Ghemme (NO), davvero una bella bottiglia (38 Euro ben spesi!) che si è perfettamente abbinata ai piatti assaporati. Di primo abbiamo preso due porzioni di pansöti alla salsa di noce e un mandilli al pesto, serviti in porzioni molto abbondanti e gustosi. Passando ai secondi, questo è davvero il regno dei carnivori, abbiamo infatti preso una fiorentina da 9 hg circa (47 Euro/kg, prezzo da ritenersi assolutamente corretto), una costata di vitello e una braciola di maiale, accompagnate da buonissime patatine fritte fresche (non surgelate!). Carne davvero buonissima! Infine come dolci abbiamo preso un sorbetto alla mela verde, un crem caramel e una crema catalana, anch'essi molto validi. Un acqua, due caffè e tre amari Camatti per un conto finale di 190 Euro in tre da ritenersi assolutamente corretto. Locale consigliato ad ogni tipo di clientela.

Lovely place and lovely staff. You can find all the classic Ligurian dishes , reasonable prices but portions are not too big . The area outside is lively and perfect for kids to play and run around . All food is homemade and tastes delicious . It’s a bit out of the way so definitely need a car to reach it .

In a bucolic spring context, an all-round restaurant, excellent service, genuine dishes with a wide choice, low prices. Outdoors on sunny days you can enjoy the excellent air and the rustic but well-organised environment. Fantastic spring flowering.

Restaurant located on the hilly part of Rapallo, surrounded by greenery and with a structure reminiscent of a Swiss grotto. Upon entering you are greeted by a promising smell of embers. There are some tables inside but most of the seats are outside, set among beautiful trees. The menu is land-based with local Genoese cuisine. The cold cuts melt in your mouth, but the thing that sends your taste buds into raptures are the grilled products. The meat is cooked to perfection…my quarter chicken was a delight. Very friendly welcome. Fast service, despite everything being complete, helpful and with a smile. Excellent quality-price. There is a play area for the little ones, who can be well entertained while waiting for their orders. Super recommended 😎

Classico ristorante dell'entroterra ligure di levante. Si pranza piacevolmente all'aperto sotto tettoie di legno e paglia e pergolati. Piatti tipici liguri di terra. Molto buone secondo me le lasagne al pesto. Servizio cortese. Prezzi normali. Unico limite, per me, se si mangia all'interno non sono accettati i cani. Comodo parcheggio poco prima dell'ingresso.

Nice restaurant on the hills of Rapallo, with a very rustic connotation. In winter it is very pleasant to dine near the fireplace. The meat is very good.
