I usually rely on locals' recommendations, and this place isn't on the typical tourist path. I wanted to try as many local dishes as possible, so I asked if they could serve half portions, which they happily agreed to. The waiter suggested some must-try dishes: Tagliatelle al ragu (Bolognese), Tortelloni with butter and sage, Tortellini in broth, and risotto with artichoke. Let me describe each dish simply: The Tagliatelle was outstanding, the Tortellini was good but a bit dry, Tortellini in broth is an acquired taste, and the risotto had a rich, flavorful artichoke taste that made me doubt they added essence. Overall, my experience was fantastic—the service and wine recommendation were spot-on. I highly recommend this place.

Tradizionale osteria Bolognese con piatti caratteristici. Personale cordiale e gentile. Ottima scelta di vini regionali.. tutti tranne quelli della mia terra .. Sardegna. Consiglio di aggiungere la regione Sardegna nel menú dei vini. Andate….

Pleasant and welcoming location, friendly staff, as the food can be improved, poor quality cold cuts and industrial tortellini, considering the fact that we are in the homeland of tortellino, I would recommend reporting it.

Entrando già si respira l’aria della tradizione. Cucina tipica e gentilezza ne fanno una tappa immancabile per chi vuole apprezzare la cucina bolognese. Tutto buonissimo, servizio rapido e personale gentile. Lo consiglio

La Montanara

27/05/2024: Historic restaurant near Viale Indipendenza. Sublime food and efficient service. We tried the tagliatelle and the Gramigna, really good and for the second course the classic cutlet and the beef cheek so tender that it could be cut with the back of the knife. The waiters are very attentive and always friendly and helpful. Thank you and goodbye! Marcello and Nicola
