Elegant trattoria, Umbrian menu, good quality food and impeccable service. Noisy internal side room (at least where we were sitting) even if the responsibility lay with some nearby tables, who were talking loudly.

Nice and elegant place with a porch where you can eat in good weather.
Location right in front of the Clitunno sources.
Excellent tasting of own-produced Umbrian oils.
Good choice of dishes on the menu.
The price of the Tratsoliva cutting board is disproportionate compared to the rest of the menu.
The organization of the kitchen and the decidedly too long waiting times need to be reviewed.
We preferred not to take sweets to avoid waiting a long time and ruining the visits planned in the afternoon.
I recommend the lobster gnocchi which are really delicious even if I didn't like that the portion of lobster placed on the gnocchi was entirely empty because it was theoretically used and inside the dish. If it is used as a gasket it must be full otherwise it is better to remove it.

We stopped with the camper at the Frantolio, and this Trattoria is managed by the same owners.
The welcome at the restaurant was excellent: they made us feel welcomed straight away. The positive experience continued throughout the dinner, from the service to the dishes up to the appropriate pairing of wines for the dish. Typical traditional dishes and wines from their oil mill.

I understand the high turnout on Sunday, but the cuisine and service went a bit haywire: we sat down at 12.45, the order was taken at 1.20pm after several reminders, the cold appetizer arrived shortly after, but unfortunately the first ones are past 2pm!
The tagliatelle with white ragù and decent stuffed pigeon were good, the strangozzi with wild asparagus were so spicy that you couldn't taste anything else, the roasted artichokes, alas, seemed simply in oil. The desserts, panna cotta and tiramisu, equal to those I make at home when I don't really feel like cooking.
The place is pleasant and clean, the location is beautiful

Excellent cuisine, very good oil they produce. Friendly and prepared staff. We were there a year ago and returned. Always high level!
We return every time we are in the area and this time too they did not disappoint. Renovated place, very nice and always delicious dishes!

Found by chance in front of the Clitumno Springs. As soon as we sat down, we had an excellent tasting of our own production oil which we happily purchased. Ate very well! The stuffed pasta, mixed grill and baked potatoes were really good. The Verdicchio and tiramisu are also excellent. And then the impeccable service, Giulia and Settimio very kind! And the music is truly suitable for a relaxing lunch surrounded by nature. We will come back to try your fish dishes too! 🌈✨🌸😊😊
