Where to start? Oh yes that's true. The grill was suggested/recommended to me by a friend of mine, from Sammichele himself. We were welcomed with courtesy and kindness. At the counter, we asked for details and advice on the type of meat to choose. We were seated and our waiter, Mr. Rocco explained and suggested some appetizers to us. Very good. The waiting times between the various courses were excellent. The meat was cooked as we requested. The raw material is among the best I have ever tasted. Aside from Rocco, I think it is right to also thank Ilaria and Vanessa, always present, kind and with a smile. We spent a pleasant evening, discovering a tradition that we were missing. Good job, everyone. We'll see again. 👏👍

In Sammichele di Bari, right in the center, a place that leaves you amazed. Let's say right away that vegans would not be comfortable in this place. As soon as you enter a counter full of meat specialities, from the famous Apulian bombette in all their variations to the famous local zampina, spectacular gnomarelli, and side dishes from ash potatoes to grilled onions. The real blow to the heart, however, is given by the incredible choice of racks of selected types of meat. We also recommend the incredible tartare and obviously the carpaccio but the supreme delight is the raw zampina, something to be had repeatedly. The selection of bottled wines is excellent and the selection of draft wine is equally good; You can also choose beer. The service is punctual and fast, they pampered us from the moment we entered until we left. Prices are appropriate to the offer. In short, if I had to define this place I would say: "heaven for carnivores, hell for vegans". Make your choice.

I hadn't been there for a long time... I'd say not much has changed. Waiting for almost half an hour to be able to reserve the meat at the counter in a fairly chaotic atmosphere due to the people ordering in 5 for a bit of paw. Fast and friendly service, nothing to say. Carpaccio and tartare very good but the meat, "the serious one" we are talking about T Bone at €55 per kg nothing extraordinary... normal. In conclusion everything is ok but honestly there is absolutely better in the area. But it fully reaches the sufficiency.

It is one of the best restaurants for Apulian meat specialties. Between bowlers of all kinds, zampina, and inghimiridde there is something to satisfy every palate. Excellent desserts. Excellent service and bill.
