I had the pleasure of having lunch at Locanda del Gusti and was particularly impressed. The atmosphere was super welcoming, perfect for a special day. The service was impeccable, with the staff proving kind, attentive and always available to our requests. The menu was creative and the portions generous. The presentation of the dishes was a true work of art. I specifically tasted their parmigiana alongside their selection of meats and it was an amazing dining experience. The ingredients were fresh and high quality and the flavor was simply delicious. I highly recommend to all lovers of authentic Italian cuisine. Well done Carmen, for what you created!

I had lunch in this inn, and I was captured by the flavors of the dishes but above all by the hospitality of all the staff. I recommend stopping at this place when you are in Sorrento 🖤

Sorrento is a difficult place for food on a budget but this place is fantastic. Amazing food, great portions and quality prices! Staff are fantastic and look after your every need, allergies are helped and great recommendations provided. Even the wine list is reasonable and quality. Great spot for dinner, I hear the cooking classes are fantastic as well!

This restaurant also runs cooking classes. The food was very tasty and there was a good selection of primi and secondi. Now when it comes to portion size, they were small. The pasta dishes were pretty normal for the region as far as portion size but the roasted potatoes or the tomato salad were extremely small, and the price was pretty high considering.

Non mi sono ancora alzato dal tavolo ma mi sembra doveroso scrivere una recensione super-iper positiva!!! Pranzo super gustoso e cucinato con amore. Staff preciso e cordiale. Complimenti continuate cosi!!!

In una sera fredda di dicembre ci ritroviamo in una locanda Sorrentina dove ad accoglierci troviamo là chef Carmen, sorridente ed accogliente. Già dal suo sorriso capisce che ti trovi nel posto giusto. Il menù è davvero tipico napoletano con tocchi di novità. Sapori classici ma ricercati. Servizio ottimo, pulizia da top service. Per non parlare del prezzo. Nel costiera sorrentina mangiare bene e spendere il giusto e’ davvero raro

15/04/2024: Il menu è molto interessante, considerate che lo chef non sporca le pentole e le dosi richiedono un discreto impegno. Abbiamo assaggiato provolone dei colli vicani in diverse consistenze ( davvero eccellente) e il tonno tonnato, spaghettini all’acqua di limone ( da provare) e un riso con patate, carciofi, pesto di acciughe (molto molto buono). Per il dessert, preparatevi, perché tra pre-dessert, dessert e post dessert, la cena chiude in dolcezza. La zeppola fritta è di una leggerezza incredibile, ne avrei mangiate 10. La carta dei vini vi permette di sbizzarrirvi, con bottiglie di tutti i prezzi; senza spendere una fortuna potrete bere molto bene. Servizio attento e cortese. Torneremo quando possibile, perché vorremmo assaggiare altre cose.

In starred restaurants, small portions are expected and a suffocating atmosphere was the opposite. Generous portions, amazing entrees and abundant desserts! I found the environment familiar. 05/04/2024: Good wine, food was pretty good but not the best. The service was really bad. They seem understaffed, stressed, and not willing to make extra effort to make clients happy. Overall not a bad place. Nice ambiance. Service threw me off, and food could be better. Also most dishes were sold out. Dish came out have cold half hot as if it was heated in a bad microwave.
25/03/2024: I have had the opportunity to appreciate this small, well-kept place several times. All my experiences have certainly been positive. The owner is a great wine enthusiast and researches the labels he offers with great dedication and competence. Excellent value for money. The dishes offered are well executed and the combinations recommended by the owner, always kind and courteous, work very well. I would like to recommend the grillo and the famous (the ladies) as vines that I have had the opportunity to appreciate in recent aperitifs. The cod zeppole are a must have. I will definitely be back with some guests who want to try a different drink, so we'll see you again soon!
