03/06/2024: We called on an off-season Sunday evening around 8pm to ask for a table at 9.30pm. Even though it was late, the owner (very kind) welcomed us with open arms and gave us all the time we needed without rushing us, even if we were the last. We had a fish first course (Passione di Mare), very good, truly abundant and rich. Even the mixed fried food was no exception. We only regret not having taken photos of the dishes (which disappeared as soon as they touched the table). Furthermore, the owner personally explained each dish to us and revealed some secret ingredients. Very honest bill and really nice place, we had a table by the pool. Priceless tranquility. We hope to return to those parts to try the other dishes! Thanks again from the bottom of my heart!

03/06/2024: We stopped by chance, finding it outside the highway junction. We were hungry and went in without checking the reviews on the web. Normally in this case I am prepared for the worst and expect the classic tourist trap. Instead we ate delicious but above all refined cold dishes, made with high quality products (for example with specially shaped friselle made upon their request, very fine hand-cooked couscous, burrata that melted in the mouth). We also had a glass of Bolgheri which, in addition to being very good, contained almost a quarter of wine. Excellent dessert. Very attentive and precise service, done with great competence. The only flaw is the inevitable Tuscan bland bread but unfortunately it's not their fault if they are born and grow up with the idea that bread is good like this 😂. I'm sorry I was passing through because between the quality of the food and the service I would have liked to try their fish dishes which I expect to be of great quality.
