Extraordinary sensorial and culinary experience

We stayed at the lampara at the end of September. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed, the staff was very kind and knowledgeable. The note I would like to make is that on the menu there was the possibility of having two different tasting courses, which is why my partner and I had thought about doing both, as I preferred one, she preferred the other. Afterwards, the maitre d' of the room told us that we could not have two different tasting courses (even though the price was listed as "PER PERSON"), but that we had to decide one for the table. I found this not very nice, because if there are two menu proposals, which include two different prices, it is assumed that the customer can choose the one he likes best without binding the other; In fact, in the end we decided to have individual courses. Furthermore, I had the feeling that the maitre'd had a "forced" behavior, very constructed and not very truthful, unlike the other waiters. Furthermore, I absolutely did not like a statement he made, making a clear difference between high-class tourism and what he defined as "down to earth". After all, even the "down to earth" tourist could be a customer of the restaurant, which is why perhaps he should have used an almost nicer term or not said it at all. As for food, nothing.

All fantastic, high quality and fresh fish

This review is long overdue, but I must share what an absolute treat it was to have our wedding reception dinner and aperitivo here at La Lampara in July 2023. The dinner created by Chef Ciro Calise was so delicious and stunningly beautiful. We had five courses and each course was a work of art. Many guests - all passionate "foodies" said this was the best food they've ever had. We want to thank Anna and her team for organizing the most beautiful and memorable wedding evening for us. We had been looking forward to the dinner at La Lampara for over a year and wow did it deliver!! It surpassed our expectations in every way. The views were breathtaking and the entire evening was just magical. And I want to call out a special thanks to Chef Ciro and his team for accommodating our guests' special dietary restrictions. One of my friends can't eat egg, dairy or gluten and Chef Ciro not only accommodated her for each dinner course, but made her a special plate of appetizers just for her at the aperitivo hour. It made her so happy she was practically brought to tears. Thank you to everyone at La Lampara for being so wonderful to work with and for giving us the wedding dinner and evening of our dreams.

Piatti raffinati e di qualità eccellente: i ravioli all'astice sono stati un'estasi.. le cozze grigliate sono state un viaggio in essenze antiche.. unico ed irripetibile.. grazie chef! complimenti anche al servizio ed un particolare elogio al figlio del proprietario.. piccolo ma già un vero professionista..

The restaurant and view are amazing. The wait staff and service as well. The food is a little underwhelming while being a little high on the price side. All in all not a bad place to have a romantic dinner looking over the ocean.

Refined dishes of excellent quality: the lobster ravioli were an ecstasy.. the grilled mussels were a journey into ancient essences.. unique and unrepeatable.. thank you chef! congratulations also to the service and particular praise to the owner's son.. small but already a true professional..
