La Frasca In Firenze

My granddad has been visiting this gem since he was a young adult so we've come annually for decades. The friendliest atmosphere, the most delicious food and reasonably priced! Would definitely recommend!

Siamo andati ieri sera con amici, lavoro lì vicino ed era tanto che volevo provare. Torneremo sicuramente cucina ottima ambiente familiare e molto carino, prezzi onesti! L'unica cosa che mi ha deluso, È che sulle recensioni avevo letto di un gattone che non ho visto, e io adoro i gatti, anche i nostri amici che erano con me, Magari la prossima volta :D si farà vedere.Super consigliato.Grazie

The classic tavern without too many pretensions. Excellent food, nice environment, helpful and friendly staff, and very fast. Reasonable prices, excellent wine.

So if you are staying in the city, make every effort to come and have dinner here. The place is delicious. Small and cozy. Special atmosphere. The menu is simple , the wine is sincere. You eat authentic food. You drink the house wine. You only need a few portions to actually find out where you are. I had meatballs in sauce with olives, with a side of very soft chickpeas. And then a fig dessert with melted dark chocolate and a sweet wine. The prices are friendly. The welcome is unobtrusive, genteel. The background music is sophisticated. The best way, in my opinion, to come up here is by train (Florence San Marco Vecchio stop, 5 minutes from Santa Maria Novella), and for the return (we are talking about the evening) find a bus nearby. All very easy. I hope a lot of people come, because the managers really deserve it.

Locale fuori dai circuiti turistici tradizionali del capoluogo toscano in posizione incantevole ai piedi delle colline fiesolane facilmente raggiungibile anche con i mezzi pubblici (autobus n°1 e treno regionale per faenza scendendo alla stazione di San Marco Vecchio). Ambiente intimista e raccolto ben arredato con gusto dal proprietario Alessandro, trentino trapiantato a Firenze ormai da vari lustri. Menù sintetico che privilegia le materie prime del territorio come il baccalà, il radicchio rosso, il salmone e lo yogurt greco. Vino della casa beverino sia nella variante rossa che rosata. Importante far notare che è aperto solo per cena e che la permanenza non può protrarsi oltre le 23.00 come avvisa la lavagna all' ingresso. Consigliato anche per piccoli gruppi non eccedenti le 13 persone.
