My boyfriend and I tried this place intrigued by the excellent reviews. We actually didn't realize it was "gourmet" and thought we would find classic dishes. The location is very nice, you have an excellent view of the hills and if you want you can have lunch or dinner outside. The service is friendly, although to order we had to make ourselves noticed as the waiters tended to snub us a bit. In any case, the owner then took our order. We waited almost an hour to have the first course, 4 good but not exceptional tortelli. In the meantime we devoured the bread because as it was already 2pm we didn't expect such a long wait... which wasn't even worth it. The second arrived after about twenty minutes. With just water and without wine or anything else we spent €72. What can I say... honestly, in my opinion, the price does not reflect what you expect to find in a restaurant like this. You leave hungry if you don't want to spend crazy money. Overall, if you're looking for an experience to taste something, it might be fine, but for those who want to eat a "classic" portion, you should go elsewhere instead. I work in catering myself so my comments are to be taken only as advice for improvement and not as criticism.

Restaurant nestled in the hills with a panoramic view to be enjoyed especially in spring/summer... during the winter a fireplace/spit located inside the restaurant will keep you company while a dinner with top quality regional ingredients is served Really good dishes, tasty and refined

The Tavern is located in one of the most beautiful views of the Euganean hills. The place is very cosy, well-kept and welcoming. The menu is made up of both a meat and fish proposal. The cuisine is refined with traditional elements. Prices in line with the level and quality of the experience.
